A Guide for Making and Publishing a Website

Websites are a lot of fun to put together. It can be a little frustrating from time to time, but ultimately it’s very satisfying. You’re creating something permanent—web pages never yellow or fade away!

A website is something you can fiddle around with, something you can work to perfect and make more attractive as your expertise grows. Hopefully others will come to your site and tell you how cool it is—and maybe you can even make some cash with your website!

I've tried plenty of freebies and spent serious cash, too, seeking out the best and easiest stuff to use. Unfortunately, there is a LOT of cheesy, over-hyped junk out there.

This page is full of what I think is the best, and hopefully, this guide will save you the time, energy and money spinning your wheels on stuff that, in the long run, flat out stinks.

So how do you get started? If you read on, you’ll find out exactly how.
